The operation led to the arrest of alias Muñeco, who would have a criminal experience of 10 years. This guy is responsible for the murder of one of the soldiers on April 2nd, in the village Cuatro esquinas, in Saravena, Arauca.
In the framework of military operations, carried out in a coordinated manner by the National Police and Colombian National Army, in the last few hours two alleged members of the Ernesto Che Guevara group's terrorism support network, of the organized armed group, GAO in Spanish, ELN, were arrested in flagrante delicto in the municipality of Saravena, Arauca.
In the place it was possible to find a hand grenade, a firearm, magazines, cartridges, two motorcycles, a cell phone and armed proselytizing material alluding to the ELN terrorist group.
In the same way, in the municipalities of Tame and Arauca, multiple pieces of propaganda alluding to the ELN terrorist group have been removed, which contributes to weakening its influence and proselytizing tools in the region.
The arrested along with the material were put into custody of the authorities for the start of the respective prosecution process.
