In this way, the soldiers provide support to the areas that are in emergency due to the dry season that hits them.
During the first month of the year, the soldiers of the Eleventh Brigade of Colombian National Army have conducted important operations aimed at raising the wellbeing of the most vulnerable inhabitants who live in the departments of the area of responsibility of this military unit.
As part of this purpose and in response to the call of the communities that are in emergency due to the high temperatures and the prolonged lack of rains, the troops have benefited with more than 150,000 liters of drinking water to the inhabitants of rural areas of the municipalities of Montería, Cereté, Pueblo Nuevo, Canalete, La Apartada and Puerto Escondido, Córdoba, as well as Caucasia, Antioquia.
The soldiers work tirelessly to mitigate this situation that hit the vulnerable villages, taking tankers loaded with water to these sectors.
