In the first operation, conducted in the border area of the department of Putumayo and Peru, the troops reported find and destroy 22 laboratories used for the production of coca base paste.

During the operation, more than two tons of coca base paste, 116 cartridges and liquid and solid supplies used for the production of alkaloids were in the same way seized.

In another military action, carried out in the border area of Colombia and Brazil, more than 18,000 kilograms of different types of drugs were seized, as well as war items, communications and military accessories.
Through this significant damage, the residual organized armed group, GAO-r, Structure 48 Comandos de Frontera loses criminal capacity in the areas where it commits crimes in the departments of Putumayo and Amazonas, from where it obtained illicit income derived from drug trafficking and the illicit exploitation of mining deposits.
In addition, this structure is responsible for ordering the recruitment of minors and the execution of terrorist acts against the inhabitants and the Military Forces.
