cogfm-arc-captura-vichada-02.jpg

The Colombian Navy, through the Naval Force of the East, during search and river control operations on the Orinoco River, made the capture of three individuals and the apprehension of a minor of age for the alleged crime of manufacturing, traffic, bearing or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition in the department of Vichada.

These individuals had with them war material and military accessories, including 75 ammunition cartridges of different sizes, three cell phones, four olive bags, two olive pants, a backpack and a multipurpose vest.

In the same way, troops found 126 bottles of smuggled liquor, 30 kg of foreign rice, three plastic barrels with 180 gallons of gasoline and a 40-horsepower Yamaha engine, which were transported aboard a metal bongo-type boat, which was navigating the Orinoco River, near Amanaven, in the department of Vichada.

The material and the three individuals were put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office and the minor was given to the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute - ICBF, for the restoration of their rights.
