Inhabitants of the neighborhoods Nariño, La Paz, Pablo VI, Petares, Pasacaballos and the municipality of Clemencia received from the hands of men and women of the Colombian Navy accompanied by of officials of the Mayor of Cartagena and members of foundations that have joined this noble activity, nearly 5,000 food baskets and 3,000 cleaning kits during mandatory preventive isolation because of COVID-19.
The Caribbean Naval Force has arranged its naval and ground units at the service of distributing humanitarian aid, in the same way it has carried out control and surveillance patrols to guarantee safe environments during quarantine.
The Colombian Navy thanks the inhabitants who in solidarity and responsibility have complied with the recommendations of the health agencies, while continuing to join efforts to mitigate the basic needs of the inhabitants during mandatory preventive isolation.
