Colombian Navy brings more than 6,000 units of humanitarian kits to residents of Cartagena

Inhabitants of the neighborhoods Nariño, La Paz, Pablo VI, Petares, Pasacaballo and the municipality of Clemencia received of the hands of men and women of the Colombian Navy accompanied by of officials of the Mayor of Cartagena and members of foundations that have joined this noble cause, nearly 5,000 food baskets and 3,000 cleaning kits during mandatory preventive isolation due to Covid-19.

 

These activities are the result of the Unified operation of the State and the coordination of efforts with the public and private sectors. They have led to mitigate the impact on the family basic basket of food of vulnerable inhabitants of urban and rural areas of the department of Bolívar.

 

During the period of preventive isolation, the Caribbean Naval Force has arranged its Naval and ground Units at the service of the distribution of humanitarian kits; in the same way control and surveillance patrols are carried out to guarantee safe environments.
