The events took place in rural areas of the municipality of Nuqu铆 in the Department of Choc贸, where troops of the Colombian Navy through the Pacific Naval Force, find 768.4 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride that apparently belonged to the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.

Guided by Naval intelligence information, troops of the infantry battalion no.23, reached a sector of the municipality of Coqu铆, where they found the hideout camouflaged in the middle of a mangrove area, which was used as a collection center.

It is believed that this group would be preparing the drug to be boarded in boats that would reach the estuary that is very close to the sector and then be sent to Central America.

After the search operations, on board a maritime unit, the 24 sacks containing the illicit substances were transported to the facilities of the Navy Infantry Battalion No.23 in the municipality of Bahia Solano, where accompanied by members of the Attorney General's Office of the nation the corresponding judicial proceedings were conducted.

Already at the facilities of the military unit the judicial authorities made the initial preliminary test leaving a positive result for 768.4 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.

On the other hand, at the north of the Department of Choc贸, troops of this same battalion near the municipality of Jurad贸, found a hideout, in which members of the company N茅stor Tulio Dur谩n of the organized armed group ELN hid a G3 rifle caliber seven millimeters, three magazines and 100 cartridges.
