Units of the Colombian Navy in development of joint operations with the National Army and coordinated with the National Police, found 635 kilograms of marijuana type creepy that were transported aboard a rudimentary boat on the Cagu谩n River.

The operation was carried out through the installation of a river checkpoint in the municipality of Cartagena del Chaira, Caquet谩, where troops guided by intelligence information provided by the Colombian Navy, proceeded to intercept a rudimentary canoe-type boat, finding 14 sacks containing inside 650 rectangular packages. The packages, after being taken to the Initial Preliminary Homologated Test - PIPH, left a positive result for creepy-type marijuana, which is presumed to be destined for the neighboring country of Brazil, where it would be marketed by Brazilian mafias for approximately 3.815 million pesos.

The pilot of the ship, an alleged member of the support networks of the Organized Armed Group Residual Miller Perdomo, was arrested for the crime of trafficking, carrying or manufacturing narcotics in accordance with the provisions of article 376 of the Colombian Criminal Code and put into custody of the National Police along with the materials.
