The Colombian Navy achieved the discovery of 1,440 gallons of fuel, during a search and river control operation carried out by the Navy Infantry riverine Battalion No. 50, of the Naval Force of the East, in the sector El Paujil, on the Inírida river, in Guainía.
Thanks to the Civic Participation Network - REPARC, the River Battalion No. 50 found and verified a ship carrying 24 plastic barrels, containing 60 gallons of fuel inside each.
During the operation, no captures occurred. The material found was taken to the main pier of El Paujil and subsequently put into custody of the authorities.
