Men of the Colombian Navy find $ 946,550 dollars, which were being transported in a boat on the In铆rida river, in the Coco Nuevo sector, in the municipality of In铆rida.
In fluvial search and control operations, men of the Naval Force of the East, of the Navy Infantry Riverine Battalion No. 50, inspected the boat, noticing irregularities in the structure of that boat, where they found 7 packages hidden with the currency inside.
During the operation, two individuals of Colombian nationality and one individual of Venezuelan nationality were captured for the crime of trafficking and transportation of foreign currency from drug trafficking.
The foreign currency and the individuals were put into custody of to the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) - Prosecutor's Office of In铆rida.
