After repelling the attack, the navy men found on the bank of the Mayorquín River the lifeless body of one of the individuals who attacked the troops, carrying an R15 rifle and two magazines. In the same way, six rifles, two pistols, 28 rifle magazines, 1,218 rounds of ammunition of different calibers, a fragmentation grenade, military accessory material and bracelets alluding to the Residual Organized Armed Group E6 Jaime Martínez were found by troops in the nearby area.
