The Colombian Navy is carrying out search and rescue operations after the capsizing of a dredge-type boat, in which six men were working in the Cargo area in the municipality El Bagre, Antioquia.
The emergency that occurred yesterday, apparently due to bad weather conditions in the area, was reported by people to the Naval Institution. A unit of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.17 attached to the Joint Task Force Aquiles that was in the vicinity of the scene of the events.
After three hours of search accompanied by the community, two lifeless bodies were found by troops at the scene of the accident.
The Colombian Navy continues the search efforts, ratifying that it will continue its efforts until all the missing people are found. In the same way, it invites people to report any valuable information to the telephone line 146 of the lifeguards.
