The Colombian Navy in a combined operation with the Brazilian Federal Police, in Manaus - Brazil, conducted to arrest four individuals of Brazilian nationality and find 1,377 kilograms of marijuana type creepy, would cost approximately 2,750 million Colombian pesos, about USD 706,000, which apparently would be given to the Familia del Norte, one of the drug trafficking structures of the neighboring country.

The ship was manned by four individuals of Brazilian nationality who sailed on the Solimoes River by the way to the province of Manaus, Brazil. Thanks to the information provided by Intelligence of the Colombian Navy, the Brazilian Federal Police intercepted the boat over the Manacapuru sector, Brazil, where they proceeded to inspect it, finding two aluminum containers attached to the hull of the boat, which contained marijuana.

Colombian Navy intelligence established that the marijuana would have been transported over the Caquetá River from the non-municipalized village of Araracuara in the department of Amazonas, Colombia, to the La Pedrera sector, in Amazonas region, a geographical point where the Japurá River begins in Brazilian territory.

Additionally, troops confirmed that these narcotics belonged to Colombian drug trafficking organizations that are apparently linked to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO, Carolina Ramírez structure, who guard the narcotics during transit through Colombian territory.
