Colombian Navy is ready with its logistical resources to support the distribution of humanitarian aid

Se entregaron seis toneladas de alimentos a las familias afectadas por las fuertes lluvias en Cartagena.

The Naval Institution permanently counts on its logistical resources and human talent, in favor of the well-being of Colombians.

 

In order to contribute to the well-being and development of the Colombian Caribbean communities, in a coordinated work conducted by the Colombian Navy, the Government of Bolívar and the peasants of the Montes de María region, the distribution of six tons of food was made to the families hit by the heavy rains in the city of Cartagena.

 

This aid was transported by land on board vehicles of Navy Infantry Battalion No.13 to the La Boquilla, Marlinda and Villa Gloria sectors, where 6,000 kilograms of agricultural products grown in the Montes de María such as yucca, plantain and yams were distributed, providing the necessary support to people to face this emergency.

 

Men and women of Navy Battalion No.13 worked continuously, to put at the service of the Bolivarians the logistical resources with which this tactical units have benefited more than 300 families.
