25 nautical miles southeast of the coast of San Andr茅s islas, Coast Guard Units of the Colombian Navy rescue a person from Croatia, after the sailboat in which he traveled, suffered loss of propel, leaving the motorboat adrift.
The Traffic Control and Maritime Surveillance Tower received the emergency call of the 50-year-old Croatian citizen, who was the only crew member aboard this damaged motor ship with Australian registration as Invictus.
After learning of the case, a Rapid Reaction Unit - URR of the San Andr茅s Coast Guard Station deployed to the area in order to find the ship in emergency.
Once there, the crew of the Naval Institution after verifying the good health of the man who was in emergency, in coordination with the merchant ship San Adriano that was close to the area, towed the sailboat Invictus and the Croatian citizen to the San Andres coasts, where the Harbor Master n. 7 of San Andr茅s had previously prepared everything to proceed to his unexpected arrival in the island.
