In order to face the alleged presence of members of Organized Armed Groups in the La Barra sector, rural area of Buenaventura - Valle del Cauca, the Colombian Navy reinforced its security operations in the area, with the immediate deployment of troops and Navy Infantry units to accompany and protect the inhabitants of this region of the country.
The troops attached to the Naval Force of the Pacific, are carrying out in the zone operations of search and military control of area in order to protect the humane security of its inhabitants and deny the activities of these Organized Armed Groups that with their criminal operations generate fear among civilians.
In the place it was verified that no losses to civilians occurred, in the same way the personnel of the Navy Infantry Battalion No. 21 continues in the territory to provide the conditions of security, of respect for human rights and also the normal development of daily activities of the people of this region of the country.
