Colombian Navy works to increase electoral security in the Colombian Pacific

The Colombian Navy sent its human talent and logistical resources in the Colombian Pacific, with the purpose of working to raise the security of the inhabitants on the coast of the departments of Cauca, Valle del Cauca and Choc贸, during the upcoming territorial electoral elections on Sunday, October 29.

 

More than 2,600 men and women of the Navy Infantry Brigade No.2 highly train and work for fulfilling the mission of ensuring the tranquility of those who come to exercise their constitutional right to vote, in more than 120 voting stations that are the responsibility of the naval institution, in the 19,835 square kilometers of in these three departments of the Pacific region.

 

In order to counteract the criminal activity of groups outlaw that may plan to threaten the free development of this democratic activity, the Military Forces continue to conduct joint and coordinated operations to maintain a safe environment.

 

The Road Safety Company Meteoro No.2, work to promote free mobility on the main roads of the three departments of the Pacific, in coordination with the National Police, who conduct checkpoint.

 

In the same way, the staff of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Buenaventura spreads the campaign I don't pay, I denounce against extortion and kidnapping, informing people how to prevent becoming victims of crimes against personal freedom inviting them to report irregularities through the toll-free line 147.
