The community of Puerto Berrio rejected the exploitation of children

With a parade through the streets of the municipality of Puerto Berrio, the community united to reject and protest against child labor.

Antioquia Our Heroes Multi mission of the Battalion of Comprehensive action and Development N ° 7, accompanied about 300 people of the municipality of Puerto Berrio-Antioquia, in the demonstration against the labor exploitation of minors. Through a parade with checkpointers and comparsa, the inhabitants made their call to raise awareness about the risks faced by children, while they sent an invitation to citizens to eradicate child labor.

For the National Army is essential to work to end the scourge of child exploitation that has a high rate in the department of Antioquia and ends up alienating children and adolescents of the educational system, putting their health and unity at risk.

With this type of conference, our Multi Mission Heroes seek the articulation and cooperation of several institutions such as the Colombian Family Welfare Institute and the Childhood and Adolescence Police, with the firm purpose of approaching parents of family and formal and informal merchants so that understand that this is an improper act and a violation of the rights of minors, which entails sanctions.
