Thanks to the resources of the Colombian Air Force aircraft, reaching the most remote places of the country, in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter more than 500 presents were transported for the children of the Trinidad Village in the municipality of Nechí.

This people who are part of the Bajo Cauca antioqueño region, benefited with the installation of a playground in the year 2019 and this time, in addition to the presents, the rural Educational Center, - CER-, in the same village received a library for their students, who face the challenge of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, since they do not have access to Internet, cell signal or computers in their homes to learn virtually.

In the same way, in this visit, the land was reviewed for the adequacy of classrooms, bathrooms and the school dining room, with the aim of improving its facilities, so that students can receive their classes when they can return. It is in the same way intended to achieve the installation of a pedestrian bridge over the San Pedro and La Trinidad streams, which will benefit more than 550 people, who on several occasions have been isolated when overflows occur. This construction is possible through a project led by professional officers of the reserve of the Air Combat Command No.5, called Puentes con Altura.

This unarmed effort operation was carried out by the Colombian Air Force and troops of the Joint Task Force Aquiles with its air, land and river components, to strengthen ties of partnership with civilians, doing State work in the most remote sites of the National Geography, bringing development and well-being to the most vulnerable communities.
