The Colombian Aerospace Force carried out an important intervention at the La Esmeralda Child Development Center (CDI), within the framework of the Plan Corazón Amigo initiative. In this activity, the military personnel renovated the painting of the classrooms, the furniture and the outdoor areas, which led to beautify and improve the conditions of the education spaces.
In addition to the adaptation tasks, the activity actively involved parents and teachers, who integrated themselves into the process and strengthened the sense of community unity. This coordination demonstrates how collaboration conducted by institutions and citizens can promote operations that contribute to the common well-being.
The Caribbean Air Group not only provided technical skills, but in the same way a service attitude that left a positive impression on the people of San Andres. Thanks to this initiative, the sense of belonging was reinforced and a warmer and more appropriate environment was generated for the students, favourably influencing their learning processes and their comprehensive development.
This type of efforts shows the commitment of the Colombian Air Force with the educational and social progress of the community. It in the same way highlights the importance of combined resources provided by the Military Forces and the people raizal and islanders to generate significant impacts on the quality of life and the future of new generations
