On this occasion, the National Army supported the distribution of food baskets in the El Rodeo neighborhood of Cúcuta, highlighting to the citizens the importance of staying home to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Men of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Battalion No. 2 in support of the Thirtieth Brigade, arrived at vulnerable homes in Cucuta, which are in compliance with preventive isolation, decreed by the National Government to carry out the distribution of food baskets in the El Rodeo neighborhood, reminding citizens of the importance of staying home to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

"We are guaranteeing that all the people, all the individuals of special protection of the State, can receive this food solution, that they can comply with the obligatory social isolation properly, taking into account that we, the Army, the Police and the Mayor of Cúcuta, are with you, you must know that you are not alone and that in these difficult times of fighting the coronavirus, there is an answer, there is a helping hand, that we are all helping and accompanying you, so that you can stay home " , said Elisa Montoya Obregón, Secretary for victims, peace and post-conflict.

This activity was carried out in coordination with the National Police in support of the Cúcuta Mayor's Office.
