With the aim of contributing to education, the Cune Rural School in the village of San Mateo, in the municipality of Villeta, department of Cundinamarca, was benefited by the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Air Maintenance Command, CAMAN, which accompanied the distribution of 130 desks and 522 school kits, seeking to improve the learning conditions of children and young people in the region, providing them with more adequate spaces and essential school materials.
This initiative was carried out in partnership with the El Lugar de Su Presencia Foundation and with the support of mrs. Alexandra Pulido Quintero, Social Manager of the Department with whom the desks and school kits were distributed, including briefcases, notebooks, pencil cases, ballpoint pens, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, among others, which contributes not only to the academic well-being of the students, but in the same way to the economic relief of many families who face difficulties in obtaining these supplies in the academic year.
During the activity, directors of the institution, teachers, parents and students expressed their gratitude and highlighted the importance of this type of alliances conducted by the Military Forces and social institutions, since these joint efforts promote the educational, social and human development of the region, generating hope and opportunities for new generations.
In this way, the Colombian Aerospace Force reiterates its commitment to building a country through education, noting that it will continue to join forces and firmly believe that education is the most powerful way to transform lives.
