In an interagency operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Prosecutor General office and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the prosecutor office, it was possible to capture four members of the terrorist Support Network (Rat in Spanish) of the José David Suarez front of the organized armed group, GAO, Eln, who commit crimes in the municipality of Aguazul and Yopal, Casanare.
Those captured were identified as Daza, political ringleader and mass organizer; alias Luz, finance ringleader and structure coordinator; alias Carlos Barato, militia ringleader; and alias Cuy, member of militia and finance network.
They must face charges for the crimes of aggravated homicide, rebellion and association to commit crimes for extortionate purposes. A judge of the Republic issued measures in prison for the four captured.
The result of this operation was possible thanks to the heavy research work on this armed group that was operating in the Department of Casanare.
