cogfm-fuerza-aerea-colombiana-lucha-contra-la-mineria-ilegal-caqueta-27.jpg

It is the result of an operation conducted in a coordinated manner by Air Combat Command No.6 of the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, the Sijin (Judicial Police) and the Corporation for the Sustainable Development of the South of the Amazon, Corpoamazonia.

On the area in the municipality of Curillo, specifically in a property known as Poblado Matecaña, this operation was carried out, there illegal exploitation of the mining sites and other materials were being carried out; equipment was seized and subsequently destroyed.

It was possible to disarm six engines fixed as dredges type 5 along with eight gold material classifiers composed of a rustic construction with wooden base on metal barrels equipped with motors, hoses and PVC pipes.
