With the institutional commitment to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the Colombian Caribbean and to strengthen the State's presence in this region of the country, the Colombian Navy carried out a health brigade Together for San Agust铆n, which benefited about 1,043 people in the village of San Agust铆n, Municipality of San Juan Nepomuceno - Bol铆var.
The activity was supported by more than 53 professionals and volunteer assistants, providing services in general and internal medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, psychology and nursing. School kits, snacks for the attending people and medicines were in the same way distributed.
This activity was possible thanks to the coordinated work conducted by the Naval Institution, through the Navy Infantry Battalions No.13 and No.17, the Aguas de Bol铆var company, the Peasant Association, the Caribbean University Corporation, the Abrazos del Alma Foundation, the Campesinos Foundation, the Narrar para vivir Foundation, the Professional Officers of the Naval Reserve of the Bolivar Mission Support Command, the Secretariat of Mines and Energies, the Secretariat of Peace Victims and Reconciliation, the University of Cartagena, among many other public and private organizations that significantly contributed to this event.
