Hallucinogenic substances, supplies and equipment for the production of cocaine hydrochloride were found by troops in the structures.
In the framework of the operations carried out by Colombian National Army, in coordination with the National Police, the finances of the organized armed group, GAO, Eln, were hit by more than 3,000 million pesos.
These operations carried out in the municipalities of Cúcuta and Pamplonita led to the finding of two laboratories for the production of cocaine hydrochloride. In the first case, in the rural area of Cúcuta, a laboratory was found with about 250 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, which were ready to be transported and marketed, more than 300 gallons of substances including hydrochloride and cocaine base in suspension were in the same way found, as well as 1228 gallons of liquid supplies.
In the second case, in the Pamplonita municipality, the troops found approximately 25 kilos of coca base, 556 gallons of fuels, and 138 kilos of solid chemical substances, in the operation a person was arrested and put into custody of the authority.
The hallucinogenic substances found in the structures, the liquid, the solid supplies, equipment and elements typical of the drug trafficking activity would be valued at more than 3,000 million pesos, a sum that the GAO will no longer receive as product of drug trafficking.
The operations of Colombian National Army against this problem neutralize the purchase of weapons and explosives by armed groups to attack the inhabitants and the troops that provide security in the Department of Norte de Santander.
