Departmental Risk Management Council successfully held in Villahermosa, Tolima

In order to generate cohesion between the government institutions, during the preparation for the Nevado del Ruiz volcano activity, the Departmental Risk Management Council, led by the Tolima Governorate, was held in the municipality of Villahermosa, with the participation of the Air Combat Command No. 4, of the Colombian Air Force.

 

During this council, preventive measures were adopted, presenting the tasks carried out to be executed by each of the local and departmental Risk Management System instances, continuing with the coordination of operations conducted by the institutions to improve the response capacity to any eventuality.

 

During the meeting, the Commander of CACOM 4, said: “The Colombian Air Force is working with its crews and aircraft 24 hours a day, in the same way determining the sectors to arrive in and provide humanitarian aid if necessary.”
