Illegal activities for the maintenance and growth of the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Jaime Martínez structure, which commits crimes in the departments of Cauca and Valle del Cauca, were severely beaten after a successful joint operation conducted by the Colombian Aerospace Force with Colombian National Army and coordinated with the National Police.
Thanks to the coordinated work of the Military Forces in the village El Placer, municipality of Jamundi, department of Valle del Cauca, it was possible to find and destroy a cocaine hydrochloride laboratory, through which this GAO-r obtained resources for the maintenance and growth of its structure, which commits crimes and disrupts the tranquility of the inhabitants of southwestern Colombia.
During the fulfillment of the mission, a runway construction with an oxidizer, dryers, accommodation and kitchen was specifically found. It housed 2,173.744 kilograms of Hydrochloric Acid and within the material used for the production of coca-based paste, we can mention the finding of one (01) vacuum packing machine, six (06) microwave ovens, one (01) blue hydraulic press, two (02) rudimentary drying tables with a total of 56 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, one (01) rudimentary tempering machine, two (02) air extractors, five (05) precision scales with a capacity for 5 kilograms, eight (08) caustic soda sacks with a capacity 25 kilograms each, for 200 kilos of solid precursors, among other elements.
In this way, the Colombian Aerospace Force ratifies its commitment to continue working inter-institutionally to increase the security of civilians, fighting 24 hours a day the problem of drug trafficking that directly disturbs our compatriots.
