In the Genny Bay neighborhood, on the island of San Andrés, an activity was carried out by the Caribbean Air Group, with the support of Soluciones W and Primavera, and the accompaniment of the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing, ICBF. The activity consisted of the distribution of 100 school kits, with the purpose of encouraging the educational development of minors, supporting children and strengthening trust between the people and participating institutions.
During the activity, a well-being and integration space was promoted, in which children of the sector received school elements that contribute to their academic activities, within the framework of working strategies with the community.
As a result, 86 people, including ethnic and non-ethnic people, residents of the Genny Bay sector were benefited, evidencing a positive impact for the children of that sector
Through this type of events, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Caribbean Air Group, GACAR, strengthens the relationship with the inhabitants, contributing to the well-being and development of the social fabric in the most vulnerable sectors of the island.
