In coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office and the Metropolitan Police, troops of the Eighth Brigade of Colombian National Army found an illegal narcotics hideout, in a wooded area of the San Judas neighborhood, of the municipality of Dosquebradas, Risaralda, with 7500 grams of marijuana.
In the thorough search of the land, together with one of the trained dogs of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, one of the soldiers found a recent excavation where the hallucinogen had been hidden, wrapped in black plastic bags; after the review, they confirmed that it was 15 packages that tested positive for marijuana.
The drug found was put into custody of the Attorney General's Office.
Colombian National Army will continue to carry out military operations aimed at weakening the drug trafficking chain throughout the coffee region.
