Responding to a call from residents of the Schooner Bight sector on San Andres Island, last Saturday morning, January 20, military personnel provided drinking water to meet the needs of the community.
The Colombian Air Force, through the Caribbean Air Group, in conjunction with the National Navy and the Police, arrived in the area with tanks favoring society with the transport and supply of more than 20 cubic meters of water, reaching with this amount, the supply of 70 percent of the sector.
Inhabitants of the sector decided to lift the blockade, and thank the institutions that did work in the place giving temporary solution to this problem.
