Through this important result, more than 2,670 million doses of cocaine are stopped from being produced, which stops them from reaching the world market, and at the same time saves more lives that do not fall into consumption.
Within the framework of joint, coordinated and inter-institutional military operations, troops of the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, a unit a of the Aviation and Air Assault Division, carried out the controlled destruction of a cocaine hydrochloride laboratory, with supplies and more than a ton of the illegal substance.
This laboratory, in the vicinity of the village of La Colombiana, municipality of Tibú, Department of Norte de Santander, had six more structures and a collection center. Through this military operation, which was made possible thanks to a helicopter-borne interception, liquid and solid supplies were destroyed which reduce the illegal finances for the maintenance of the GAO-r Structure 33, by more than 10,200 million pesos.
