Finding of 5,470 gallons of gasoline in Pizarro - Chocó department.
In the framework of river and land operations carried out by the Colombian Navy, 5,470 gallons of fuel were found by troops, as well as war materiel, dealing a significant blow to the criminal structures that commit crimes in the Chocoan Pacific region.
The first procedure was carried out in the municipality of Pizarro - Chocó department, where the military personnel of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No. 22, carried out an inspection on a ship named Don Juan that was illegally transporting 5,470 gallons of gasoline, distributed in several barrels.
The second result was possible in the framework of patrols conducted in the municipality of Jurado - department of Chocó, by members of the Military Forces attached to Navy Infantry Battalion No. 23 and the National Police, who found 33 20 mm caliber cartridges in a wooded area, apparently belonging to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.
As part of military operations, 33 20 mm caliber cartridges were found by troops in a wooded area in Juradó – department of Chocó.
The material was put into custody of the authorities for the corresponding legal proceedings.
