At the military ramp of the Amazonas Air Group, GAAMA, a King-350 type aircraft, belonging to the Military Transport Air Command- CATAM, the mission of transferring an 88-year-old adult was coordinated, who allegedly had suffered a heavy fall and required immediate assistance.
Due to her delicate state of health and complex diagnosis, the patient was sent to the city of Bogot谩, as she needed a more complex intervention, so the Colombian Aerospace Force, through its aeromedical transport capacity, facilitated the timely transfer of this woman.
During the flight, the efficiency and support of the military medical personnel and crew worked for the constant monitoring of the patient, providing her with life support and specialized assistance, ensuring that her arrival was in optimal conditions to receive the sought-after treatment.
Through this type of operations, the Colombian Aerospace Force has used all the logistical and human resources to strengthen its mission of safeguarding the life and well-being of Colombians, overcoming distances and geographical obstacles to bring hope and assistance to the most remote communities in the country.
