The electoral activity in the area of operations of the Fifth Brigade culminated in normality

The conditions provided by the soldiers in this region of the country, led the inhabitants to exercise their right to vote with tranquility.

 

With a positive report, the electoral activity of this March 13 in the region culminated, consolidating this democratic fair as one of the safest in recent years, thanks to the coordinated work conducted by soldiers of the Fifth Brigade, the National Police and other civil authorities.

 

In total, there were more than 3,100 members of the Military Forces of this military unit a of the Second Division, who, worked in the villages, municipalities and roads of Santander and the rest of the area of operations, demonstrating their commitment to safety, even in the sun and rain. In every corner, the soldiers were ready to support and solve the needs of the community.

 

Both in the municipalities of Santander and in the other of municipalities of the south of Cesar, south of Bolívar, North of Santander, Boyacá and Antioquia, there were no incidents of law and order disturbance or denunciations of acts that attacked the security of the electoral process.

 

The National Army thanks the citizens for their good behavior, the confidence in their heroes and in the same way reaffirms its commitment to the tranquility of the inhabitants.
