The Colombian Aerospace Force sent a C-40 aircraft to transport 11 tons of humanitarian aid collected under the Casanare United for Cordoba campaign led by the Government of Casanare, in coordination with the Military Forces, relief agencies, production groups, the Departmental Directorate of Disaster Risk Management and Civil Defense.
The Aerospace Force's support for this solidarity campaign began with the departure of the C-40 aircraft of the Military Transport Air Command, CATAM, in Bogotá to the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, in Yopal, where the Colombian Air Force soldiers began loading the aid containing non-perishable food, clothing, first-aid items, mattresses and rice. Finally, the aircraft landed at Los Garzones International Airport in Montería.
