With the purpose of promoting an exchange of experiences, knowledge, lessons from the past and good practices on aspects relevant to the processes of human talent management conducted by the two Air Forces, a meeting was held during which issues related to regulations, doctrine, models of education of military personnel, incorporation, permanence policies, wellbeing and personnel selection, evaluation systems, health, gender approach among others were addressed.
The opening of this exchange of experts was in charge of Mr. Brigadier General Edgar Alexander Salamanca Head of the Aeronautical and Space Education Department of the Colombian Aerospace Force, FAC, who met with the delegation of Chile headed by Mr. General of Air Brigade Rodrigo Palma Violic Director of Personnel and Logistics of the Chilean Air Force, FACH.
The working sessions were held on December 18 and 19 by expert officers of the different functional areas of the Human Development Command of the FAC, who had the opportunity to meet and interact with the Chilean delegation, in order to compare issues of common interest in terms of strategic planning of new training models and the entire process involving human resource management.
It should be noted that the aspects discussed contributed to generating new opportunities, which of the exchange of knowledge and dialogue by both Air Forces expanded knowledge and perspectives to strengthen these essential processes to maintain the levels of leadership, qualified behavior and motivational of military personnel and civilians in the fulfillment of the constitutional mission.
Finally, this exchange activity on personnel matters is part of the program of bilateral activities agreed to be conducted by the Chiefs of Staff of the Colombian Air Force and the FACH within the framework of the ninth bilateral meeting held in Colombia on September 07, 2023.
