Taking into account the issues of cooperation with the Peruvian Air Force, the Colombian Air Force designated a delegation to conduct a referencing visit, in order to discuss issues on protection, integration of capabilities and interoperability of security models that contribute to the conservation of the Amazon region.
The visit to the Air Group N°.31 of the Peruvian Air Force, has led to exchange experiences and knowledge for the implementation of a shared system of Surveillance and Protection of the Amazon and its different ecosystems, topics addressed at the bilateral meeting of Chiefs of Staff FAP-FAC.
The visit in the unit is made to the Geomatics and Remote Reconnaissance squadrons; for the production, treatment and analysis of images obtained with the airborne sensors in this area of importance for its protection.
