Legal operations were concentrated in the municipalities of Pitalito, Garz贸n and Campoalegre.
In an inter-institutional effort conducted by units of the Ninth Brigade of the National Army, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, precautionary measures were implemented for the purpose of expropriating 15 properties in Huila that would belong to alias Richard, who was the ringleader of the 30th front of the Western Joint Command.
It is a real estate in the Rosario neighborhood, in the municipality of Garz贸n with an area of 542 square meters, in Llano Sur, in the municipality of Campoalegre, two lots, each with an extension of 2,762 meters and, in Pitalito, 12 properties with an extension of 213,233 meters, for 219,299 square meters.
The investigation carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for the Extinction of the Right of Ownership, shows that, apparently, alias Richard, product of illicit activities, accumulated significant capital with which he would have acquired assets, entrusting these to his girlfriend and front men.
Who's alias Richard?
In the same way known as King Midas, this man, who was for more than 22 years in the illegal structure belonging to the extinct Farc, was considered a key member for the organization due to his criminal ability in obtaining large sums of money for the purchase of weapons and support of the unit.
The man, who had been arrested in 2014, was the one who apparently ordered and led kidnappings and extortions, as well as drug trafficking, criminal activities that he used to get money and with it not only finance the armed group but to give himself his own luxuries, including the purchase of extensive land in various regions of Colombia especially in Huila.
According to the investigative work, the secretariat of the former Farc trust him in such a way that he was who, apparently, handled at least 60 percent of the money derived from drug trafficking.
It has an extensive criminal record in which the crimes of aggravated homicide, kidnapping, rebellion, extortion, drug trafficking and illegal carrying of firearms are described. Among his criminal operations, he is accused of being responsible for ambushing the police, burning vehicles and having planned and executed the kidnapping of the Deputies of Valle in 2002.
