Thanks to the support of the program Fe en Colombia and the leadership of the Families in their Land program of the Department for Social Prosperity –DPS-, vulnerable families exhibit their products after a year of hard work.
Faith in Colombia institutional program of the National Army is currently working hand in hand with the Department of Social Prosperity ––DPS-, to carry out a large peasant markets in the Market Square of the municipality of Chaparral, this activity was given as the closure of the program Families in their Land of the DPS, thus complying with bringing the institutional support of the national government to the southern territory of the department of Tolima.
During this 2019, 370 peasant families of the municipality of Chaparral in their 5 municipalities, participated in the formulation of projects and home gardens to show in this peasant market the fruit of their land.
It is worth noting that during the activity, the children were in the same way able to participate by painting drawings on the main agricultural products of the region, making this event a space for healthy recreation for families.
