Arauca. Several unions met with Major Juvenal Molano Varón, commander of the Comprehensive action and Development Battalion No.8 and the Fe in Colombia team, to support the productive projects that are being carried out in the municipalities of Tame, Arauquita , Fortul, Arauca and Puerto Rondón.
The professionals of the Fe in Colombia team contribute their knowledge to the social and economic development of the region.
The event took place from 9:00 in the morning and gathered the representatives, treasurers and presidents of the different dairy, cattle, brown sugar and coffee associations. In the facilities of the Military base of Tame, where the different requests that merchants had make were heard for progress in the productive projects in each of the municipalities of the department of Araucania.
Several topics were discussed in the meeting covering the needs of the civilian population. In this way, the team of Fe in Colombia, of the Eighth Division, in the company of the Commander of the Support Battalion of Comprehensive action and Development No.8, carried out strategies and commitments in order to contribute to the unified operation and the articulation of the different institutions and families of the region.
In the same way, our multi-mission heroes guarantee an upcoming meeting in April, which will have the presence of the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA in Spanish) to deal in depth with the commitments acquired and the progress of these productive projects.
