In a coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, it was possible to hit the financial structure of an Organized Gang, which commit crimes such as drug trafficking in the department of Arauca and Casanare.
In the course of the mission, a woman identified as Paola was arrested in Yopal, Casanare, who allegedly belonged to this gang, carrying out activities related to microtrafficking, generating insecurity in this region of the country.
The money from these illicit operations was allegedly used to increase the finances of organized armed groups, which through extortion of money allegedly carry out terrorist operations against civilians and Military Forces.
In this way, the Colombian Air Force continues to work on decisive operations jointly and in coordination with the relevant institutions to weaken the enemy's operation and protect the inhabitants in the departments of Arauca and Casanare.
