The operations to remove any vestige of war from the department of Huila and prevent them from being used by the Organized Armed Groups with presence in the department of Cauca, have led units of the Infantry Battalion No. 26 'Cacique Pigoanza' to intensify operations in western regions of the department of Huila, more exactly in the municipalities near the border of the Department.
The most recent operation took place in the village of San Isidro in the municipality of Nátaga, where the soldiers, after gathering information and carrying out intelligence work, undertook a detailed search of the area, finding an illegal hideout with six grenades IM - 26 and 450 grams of Pentoflex explosive.
The material was destroyed under controlled conditions, neutralizing the risk due to the presence of this type of devices in the rural areas of the department of Huila.
