The Military Forces continue to demonstrate their decisiveness against the residual Organized Armed Groups, GAO-r, in the central Pacific. This time, during a joint and coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Navy, the National Army, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, an illegal hideout of war material belonging to the Farc dissident group, Structure 6, mobile column Jaime Martínez, was found in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.

The comprehensive deployment of the Military Forces and the National Police in the Colombian Pacific, along with the heavy operation carried out against the residual Organized Armed Groups, led the troops to reach a house in the sector of Llano Bajo, Aguas Claras, in rural Buenaventura, where they found a rifle, a shotgun, two grenade launchers, 935 cartridges, three magazines, two units of communications equipment and a pixelated multipurpose vest.

The material found was hidden in the back of the house and according to military intelligence information, it was being used by the residual Structure 6 GAO, Mobile Column Jaime Martínez to attack the Military Forces, intimidate civilians and commit terrorist and criminal operations that alter law and order in this area of the country.

Weapons, ammunition, communication equipment and military accessories were put into custody of the authorities. No arrests were made during the operation.
