According to the request made by the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management - UNGRD, the National Personnel Recovery Center - CENRP, and in coordination with the National Parks Forestry Brigade, a 212 helicopter of the Air Combat Command No. 3, in support of the extinction of the forest fire that occurs in the Caño Pontio sector Via Parque Isla Salamanca.
The aircraft moved to the point the Fire Brigade and National Police personnel, who will carry out extinguishing work on the ground.
Seven water drops were carried out on the conflagration with retardant liquid with the Bambi Bucket equipment thus helping to slow down the spread of the flames.
