With the commitment to strengthen the well-being of the communities, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Air Combat Command No. 5, CACOM 5, carried out the first day of the activity of comprehensive support activity in the village of Severá, municipality of Cereté, department of Córdoba, aimed at inhabitants of sectors such as Los Caños and Berenjena.
During this first activity, 292 people benefited, receiving 395 medical assistance consultations in different specialties, as follows: 127 in general medicine, 68 in internal medicine, 52 in pediatrics, 56 in psychology, 41 in dentistry, 36 in orthopedics and 15 in geriatrics, facilitating access to health services and contributing to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants.
Similarly, the distribution of humanitarian aid was carried out, including 110 food baskets, 21 mats, 90 grooming kits, 10 boxes of clothes and 50 packs of diapers, benefiting families in vulnerable conditions.
The activity in the same way had recreation spaces and activities aimed at children, young people and adults, promoting social integration and community well-being.
This joint and interdisciplinary effort was possible thanks to the coordination conducted by Colombian National Army, the Mayor's Office of Cereté, the E.S.E. Camu El Prado de Cereté, the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Air Combat Command No. 5, the SOMER Clinical Foundation, Laproff laboratories and volunteers, who, through coordinated and supportive work, joined resources to bring care and hope to communities, reaffirming their commitment to social development.
