The Naval Institution, in previous coordination with the Departmental Government, managed to transport more than three tons of bio protection elements, including face masks, antibacterial gel and essential drugs for chronic patients who must continue with their medical treatments.
Recently, the Specific Command of San Andrés and Providencia and its components of the Colombian Navy, National Army and Air Force, have worked together, achieving the arrival of 4 flights in the island of San Andrés with humanitarian aid, including basic necessities, bio protection elements, essential medicines and intensive care unit beds to equip the Departmental Hospital.
In compliance with the San Roque operation, the Colombian Navy will continue with the #CorazónAzuLado, working together, coordinating and inter-institutional for the well-being of the people. In the same way, it reminds the inhabitants the preventive sanitary measures such as washing hands, social distancing and the use of protection elements.
