Due to the emergency that occurred in El Bosque mine, where more than eleven people were trapped, the Colombian Air Force arranged a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter to carry out the transfer of a 1.5-ton motor pump, which will facilitate rescue work in the area.

As soon as the request was received by the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, UNGRD, the relevant coordination was established to move this machinery that with greater power will extract water of the sinkhole.

This emergency is assisted by the Neira relief agencies, along with the National Army, Police and Civil Defense, with the National Mining Association (ANM), which in the same way activated its protocols since the landslide in the mine was reported.

The Colombian Air Force remains on alert, with its aircraft and crews available to provide support for any emergency through the National Personnel Recovery Center.
