According to a request by the Emergency Regulatory Center of the Department of La Guajira-CRUE, in the north of Colombia in Alta Guajira, the evacuation of four minors was carried out in a humanitarian operation; they required to be assisted in a higher level medical center.
In a Bell 212 helicopter of the Air Combat Command No. 3 that moved from Malambo - Atl谩ntico to the village of Nazareth, the patients, who were in a grave state of malnutrition and had a prognosis of gastroenteritis, were transported to the municipality of Maicao.
During this mission, the military medical personnel were constantly monitoring the evacuees, taking them stable to their destination.
