The arrested individual is linked to four homicides that occurred in the municipality of Ambalema, in the department of Tolima, in 2021.
Thanks to military intelligence efforts, troops of the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Cundinamarca of the Thirteen Brigade of the National Army arrest, by court order, in Bogotá, an individual known by the alias Pacho, alleged ringleader of the Los Cocos gang that commits crimes in the department of Tolima.
Alias Pacho was required by the justice as the mastermind of the events reported in the urban area of Ambalema Tolima, last July, 2021, where four people were cruelly murdered and three others were found by troops with multiple wounds, the latter, would have been those who identified him as a participant in the events.
The arrested person will be prosecuted for the offences of aggravated homicide and trafficking and carrying firearms and conspiracy to commit crimes.
